Worth knowing
- The strongest published safety package in the directory so far: twice-daily medical checks, portable altitude chambers, 640L oxygen tanks, and helicopter-evacuation membership included in the price.
- Marketed trip lengths include 2-3 hotel nights and a departure day, so a '12-day Lemosho' is 9 days on the mountain - compare trek days, not brochure days.
- Their own site disagrees with itself on the Spiral Route: $6,990 and '14 days' on the trip page, $6,970 and '15 days' elsewhere.
- Publishes none of the four disclosure facts this directory tracks (park-fee breakdown, porter wage, tipping guidance, crew size), and no tipping guidance despite a 46-year history.
- Claims a 98% summit success rate; unaudited, as all operator success claims are.
- Review presence is thin for a 49-year-old brand: one main TripAdvisor listing (5.0 from 145) plus small secondary listings (Marangu 5.0 from 5, Mongolia 5.0 from 13), no Trustpilot profile, and a BBB page that is A+ accredited (since 2023) but carries zero customer reviews.
